Alidad Moghaddam is a London-based technology executive, angel investor, and advisor with over 20 years of experience across start-ups, scale-ups, and large global enterprises. He brings extensive experience working with leading private equity firms across buy-side and sell-side transactions, value creation, and digital transformation.
As CEO of Blue Light Card, he led the successful PE-to-PE exit from Inflexion to Vitruvian, demonstrating strong execution against the company's value creation plan. He also serves as an advisor to PE and VC funds on digital strategy and due diligence across the deal lifecycle.
Previously, Alidad was International General Manager and VP of Growth at Trainline, where he was part of the executive team that led the company's ~$2B IPO on the London Stock Exchange and grew the business by over 4x. He expanded Trainline's footprint to ~175 countries, growing international GMV to ~€500M.
His earlier career includes leadership roles at Bain & Company (including PE due diligence), American Express, Moneysupermarket.com, and TotallyMoney (PE-backed). He is also a Commercial & Growth Expert in Residence at Seedcamp, a leading European seed fund that has backed unicorns including Wise, Revolut, and UiPath.
Alidad holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA with Honours (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Brown University.
